General Interest

In this course, each student will be taught legal consideration, responsibility of the first aid provider, recognizing an emergency, scene/self-safety, deciding to help, and basic CPR one rescuer skills (adult, child, infant), including chest compressions, and breathing with a barrier, hands-only CPR, treatment for an obstructed airway (choking), use of AED. Basic first aid for injuries, illnesses, and environmental emergencies. Please advise the instructor if a "Pediatric" card is required. All certification cards will be emailed to students. Students who arrive late will not be permitted to enter the class. Students enrolling in this class should have basic understanding of English, as instruction and class activities will be conducted in English.
