Citizenship
This class prepares applicants to pass the examination to become naturalized citizens of the United States. The class includes study of American history, the Constitution and federal, state and local governments. Students learn how to apply for citizenship and how to pass the written exam and oral interview.
- An ESL student attends class for over 130 hours a year.
- An average of 15 students a month pass their INS interviews to become citizens.
